Many people will argue against solder on a vehicle ("vibration will make it fail..."). You can guard against vibration but you can't guard against moisture and corrosion. I've got solder joints that have gone over 50,000 miles and are still in great shape. Honda's crimped connections are all the proof I need to solder my work.
